- ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher
is a highly versatile extinguisher suitable for use
on Class A, B and C fires, in addition to it being
non-conductive, thus, suitable for use on electrical
fires. It works rapidly with a fast knock down of
fire and is very effective against running fuel fires.
- CO2 Handheld Fire Extinguisher:
Carbon Dioxide extinguishes fire by displacement of
oxygen. CO2 does not conduct electricity, therefore
this type of extinguisher is recommended for electrical
fires. It can also be used on flammable liquids and
other Class B fires.
- AFFF Foam Fire Extinguisher
for multi-risk usage. It works quickly and effectively
on Class A and B fires, is non-toxic and non-damaging
to most materials. It prevents re-ignition of flammable
liquids EG. petrol, by smothering flames and blanketing
the surface.
- Wet Chemical Extinguishers
for Class F (oil) fires are for use in galleys
where deep fat fryers of up to 15 litres are present.
The 'F' Class wet chemical extinguisher is specifically
designed for fighting fat and cooking oil fires -
The wet chemical applied through a fine mist spray
nozzle reacts with the oil/fat to form a film that
